Sundays: 12PM – 6PM
Chip Douglas is a father to 14 year old Griffin, a husband to Kitty, a Raleigh native, and has been a fixture of Raleigh radio for more than 25 years.
Besides his family, music is his life. He also works at Walnut Creek Amphitheater, Red Hat Amp, PNC Arena and The Ritz as the Assistant Production Manager for Live Nation Carolinas, so you will see his spikey hair at almost any concert.
His radio career has never taken him out of the Triangle, and he answers to many familiar names including Dangerboy (96Rock), Maverick (94.7 WQDR), Jimmy (Radio 96.1) and of course Chip.
He is a Past Chairman and current Member of the Board of Directors for Neuse Charter School in Smithfield.
His Homestead in Clayton includes two cats, a dozen backyard chickens, and Mom living right next door. That’s right: next door. Good times.
