Plus a couple of Big Hair Rockers early in the countdown: “Pour Some Sugar On Me” (Def Leppard), and “Nothin But A Good Time” (Poison). It’s Back to the 80s, every Saturday 6-10 am, with an encore presentation 8-midnight on KIX!
The Seventies Rule on KIX Sunday morning with Casey Kasem’s original American Top 40. As we were celebrating Memorial Day ’75 here’s what was rockin’ the beaches and jukeboxes! It’s a mixed bag for your Top Five from Earth, Wind, and Fire, Freddy Fender, The Carpenters, and John Denver…newcomers Queen have their first hit with “Killer Queen”… and Linda Ronstadt’s star is rising with “When Will I Be Loved”.
